Brian T. Keck is a Senior Associate Attorney handling general personal injury, automobile accident, trucking accident, product liability, medical malpractice, premises liability (slip and fall), and employment law matters. Brian has recovered millions of dollars for his clients since 2014, including some of the largest recoveries in the State of Michigan.
Brian attended Grand Valley State University where he obtained a dual degree in political science and philosophy with high honors (magna cum Laude and in the top 1% of his graduating class). Brian went on to study law at Wayne State University Law School as a full tuition scholar, where he graduated cum laude (top 25% of class) and received several academic honors. Thereafter, he was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 2013, as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan and the United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan.
Brian has handled cases in various state courts in the State of Michigan (Wayne, Macomb, Washtenaw, Oakland, Genessee, Lenawee, Jackson, Kalamazoo, Calhoun, Iron), as well as federal courts including the Eastern District of Michigan and Western District of Michigan. Brian’s experience extends to state courts in Ohio (Lucas and Lorain), as well as federal court in the Northern District of Indiana. Brian has also had the privilege of arguing in front of the Sixth Circuit (Brown v. Battle Creek Police Dep’t, 844 F.3d 556 (6th Cir. 2016) and Michigan Court of Appeals on multiple cases.
Brian has been selected to the Super Lawyers Michigan Rising Stars List from 2019 – 2022. This is an exclusive list, recognizing no more than 2.5 percent of attorneys in Michigan.
In his personal life, Brian spends the vast majority of his free time with his beautiful daughter and wife.
